From the point of view of economic policy, The interests of industrial employers are repersented by the Federal of German Industries ( Bundesverband der Deutschen
Industrie- BDI).In which the top level organizations of 39 branches of industry, embracing over 90,0000. enterprises are associated . The emphasis of its operations lies on committees covering all important fields of economic policy. The Fundamental principles are drawn up by the institute of German industry (DEUTSCHES INDUSTRIEINSTITUT)which has its offices in colongue. Togather with the Donor ASSOCIATION for German science a discussion group called " Science and Economy" has been set up to promote cooperation with Scientific circles.
The Chambers of commere called in Germanu Chambers of Industry and trade are the regional organs concerned in the economic self- administaration of industrial enterprises. They repersent an association on a local level of people carrying on
business in all branches of trade ( with the exception of handicraft) and their
purpose is to look after the General interests of world of commerce as a whole. On
the basis of the LAW on the Provisional Regulation on the right of chamber of commerce their status is that of statutory corporations. At Present there are 81 of
these Chambers in the Federal Republic and WestBerlin , They are associated at land level in either " working communities" or chamber associations and at BUND level in the German industry and trade Convention ( Deutscher industrie-and Handelstag- DiHT). The offices of junior Groups of German Employers which devotethemselfes to giving encouragement to the younger generations of the employers are housed with the DIHT) the offices of the juniour Group of German Employers , which devote themselves to giving encouragement to the younger generations of employers, are housed with DIHT, which also lookmafter the interest of the German and international chambers of Foreign Trade ( Auslandshandelsskammers)at present 27 in number. These are voluntary association of buisnessman from the federal republic and tose of a foreign countries.
